City Treehouse has qualified teachers to bring your kids the best in fun, learning and exercise.
Aryn Wexler grew up in Jericho, New York and has enjoyed working at children's summer camps, instructing Science and Art classes for after-school programs, and tutoring students privately. While achieving her Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Psychology from Long Island University, she obtained diverse experience by both teaching and performing field observations in the Roslyn, Jericho, Plainview and West Hempstead school districts. After a year-long sabbatical, Aryn moved to Northern California to pursue her Masters in Applied Psychology from Golden Gate University. She was the designated Ross Academy Artist at a Montessori school in Mill Valley, CA and was also exposed to the Reggio philosophy while working at a progressive, nature-based preschool in Oakland, CA. Her role at City Treehouse, a self-professed 'dream job', allows her to develop and implement classes and curriculum as well as enjoy the whimsical playspace with our members. She is also the author of the CTH parenting newsletters and 'Learning through Play' hand-outs. Aryn's values are in harmony with those of City Treehouse; she is an environmental enthusiast and truly believes in the importance of learning through play.
