Frequently Asked Questions:
1) Do I have to be a member to visit City Treehouse?
Membership is not required to play. We offer packs of hours to use for up to a year after purchase. We only allow 25 children in the playspace each hour to ensure everyone has a fun and safe experience. Space is available on a first-come first-serve basis. You may call or email us in advance to reserve a time to play.
2) What age is your playspace suited for?
We are age-appropriate for children 2 months to 8 years old. For babies and toddlers, we offer a Soft Play room filled with age-appropriate toys. games and learning equipment. Our multi-tiered shallow water table SPLASH! offers plenty of excitement for children 12 months to 8 years old and they will love getting wet, splashing and playing in water. It is also a sensory based, child directed activity - a wonderful stimulus for learning. They will also enjoy climbing and sliding in our two-story treehouse and secret star cave. Downstairs features a den-style playroom complete with dress-up clothes, giant inflated ball pit, 12 foot whiteboard with markers and crayons as well as a multitude of general toys and games.
3) Should I bring a swimming suit and towel for my child?
No. Swimming suits and towels are not necessary. Children will enjoy reach-in play at our water table but it is not designed for swimming. We do recommend that you bring clean water shoes (crocs, flip flops, etc) and a change of clothes. Smocks and hand dryers are available onsite for visitors to use but it is common for clothing to get wet.
4) What classes do you offer?
In addition to popular classes like music, dance and crafts, City Treehouse offers innovative reading and language classes, designed to cultivate storytelling, literacy and language skills. For families who prefer a more child-driven learning experience, we offer a variety of longer, less structured and highly interactive classes such as play groups, dramatic play and construction classes.
