Sunprint Summer Saturdays

Staying in the city over summer? Every other Saturday join us at City Treehouse for free Sunprint art. Have fun in the sun creating original prints using plants, feathers and other natural items.

Make original 'cyanotype' images from light without a camera using special photography paper. Design your image using leaves, flowers, feathers and other natural items then play around our water table while it dries.

Play around our water table then join Courtney in our downstairs art studio for fun and easy art projects! Make something different every month using a variety of materials, including paint, crayons, recycled paper products, clay, glitter & more!

Baby Sign Lanugage Workshop

In this exciting one-off workshop learn everything you need to know to effectively communicate with your pre-verbal infant through 'Baby Sign Language' - an easy to learn basic sign vocabulary from American Sign Language that enables communicative expression for babies prior to speech development.

Learn how to get started, what to do, and the signs most relevant to babies. We will do some small, fun activities with the babies to help you get the hang of things and there will be plenty of time to get all your questions answered. Please bring your babies (ages birth - 18 months). Materials are included.

Music Together Sing-a-long

Get your weekend started with FUN! Join Music Together in the City for a FREE sing-a-long, every 3rd Saturday morning at City Treehouse. Music Together classes are for children birth to 4 years old, along with their parent or caregiver. Classes include songs, chants, dancing, small instrument plan and MORE!

The Creative Kitchen Summer Crafts

Get creative in the kitchen with both cooking and craft activities! Join Cricket Azima and The Creative Kitchen for a 3 week summer workshop as they team up with kids for fun delicious recipes and fun food-related art projects!

Rock-a-Baby Concert

Rock-a-Baby (or R-a-B as their friends call them) is an interactive music program for infants and toddlers. Join their concert and meet the stars of their show - Melody, Rhythm and Harmony. Ranging from classical to jazz, and traditional children's songs to rock 'n roll, Rock-a-Baby is an experience that everyone can enjoy!

Downward Doll Yoga with Karma Kids

This fun and silly class is an opportunity for kids to share the yoga fun with their favorite doll, creature, or stuffed animal! We'll explore pint-sized poses, mini-mudras, bitsy balances, and teensy twists. Bring your own doll or stuffed animal, help them into yoga poses, and they can practice alongside on their very own yoga mat. Receive a fun yoga giftbag, with mini yoga mat, mini lotion, and other mini yoga accessories, for you and your downward dolls to enjoy!

Soap-making Workshop

Join us for a fun 3 week workshop to learn how to create your own vegetable glycerin soaps! Choose from an assortment of fun molds to handcraft unique designs using a selection of natural, high-quality, child-safe pigments and fragrances.

Each week you will create two soaps and once the soap has set, package it with charming decorations for a gift to give to someone special!

Erin Lee and the Up Past Bedtime Band Not-So-Spooky Halloween Concert

With fun and funky songs about Things that go Bump in the Night, Erin Lee and the Up Past Bedtime Band will be celebrating Halloween with a not-so-spooky family concert.

Erin Lee Kelly is an award-winning songwriter whose music has received rave reviews (“Irresistible!” -Disney’s Family Fun Magazine) and radio play from Massachusetts to New Mexico. Accompanied by the Up Past Bedtime Band, she creates a fabulous family concert featuring funky drumming and silly songs about the everyday up and downs of childhood.

Holiday Soap-making Party

Rolie Polie Guacamole Holiday Concert

Rolie Polie Guacamole is the hippest new children's band from Brooklyn, NY. Their two albums, Rolie Polie Guacamole and Time for Hummus, are a mix of funk, rock and folk music mashed into original songs about natural living, eating healthy and staying active.

Kids love dancing and singing along to this high energy band and parents love the positive influence their songs have on trying new and healthy foods. After dancing along to their set your kids just might be ready for a good night's sleep!
